:: To Parents :: A Word To Parents
A WORD TO PARENTS
We believe in the dictum that THE PARENTS ARE THE FIRST TEACHERS AND THE TEACHERS ARE THE SECOND PARENTS.

Kindly discourage your child from taking leave as far as possible.

Go through your child's diary daily, to check whether there is a message for you and countersign it.

Keep in touch with the day to day progress of your child and discuss it with the Principal regularly at the appointed hours.

Criticism of a student's teachers or the school in the presence of the child should be avoided because it may cause the student to lose respect for the teacher and the school.

The school teachers do not take tuitions for their own class students. So, do not force them to teach your child privately.

Kindly inform the school if there is any change in address.

Only English should be spoken in the school premises in order to obtain a command over spoken English. Parents are requested to encourage this practice at home also.

After every terminal examination, the parents of students who have not performed well, will have to meet the Principal, to take the Progress Report in person, at the appointed time which will be intimated on the Open Day.

Parents are requested to examine the Progress Report issued after the mid-term tests and terminal exams, and take up remedial measures, if necessary, in consultation with the Principal.

Parents are requested to contact the school office for any official purpose.

The school periodically organizes parent-teacher meetings, in which, talks are arranged on child education and child welfare. Attendance of atleast one of the parents at such meetings is compulsory.

Parents are welcome to see the Principal between 9.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. on all working days.

Parents / Guardians may see the teachers or the children only after obtaining permission from the Head of the Institution. They are requested not to enter and disturb classes. However they are free to meet the teacher from 3.30 pm to 4 pm on all working days.

Entrusting a pupil to the school implies that the parents agree to abide by the rules and regulations of the school. Parents should see that their son / ward prepares home lessons properly and devotes atleast 2-3 hours iin the evening to his studies.

As Education is primarily the responsibility of the parents, they are expected to co-operate with the school community with regard to the pupils' integral growth.

Therefore, parents are requested to follow up the child in its process of growth and maintain a cordial, cooperative relationship with the school authorities, failing which the student may be dismissed from the school.

14.20. Parents are a part of the educative community in the interest of their ward. It is therefore expected of parents to follow a decorum when dealing with the Principal and staff. In as much as we respect the concern of the parents towards their ward, parents too are requested to cooperate with the school for further continuance of their ward in the school.
